After studying drawing, painting, and fashion design at Parsons School of Design in NYC and Paris I worked as an Assistant Fashion Designer to the incredibly innovative and talented Yeohlee Teng for 3 seasons.
Yeohlee’s designs are constructed with an architectural eye - considering how different forms move with the body - resulting in sculpture-like creations. Her pieces have appeared in more than 40 museum exhibitions around the world and belong to permanent collections at the Victoria & Edward Museum in London as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Yeohlee incorporated zero-waste methods into her practice long before they were industry-wide trends. Similarly, as a student I opted to utilize sustainable and alternative materials while developing my portfolio at Parsons.
